Because of the random nature of chainguns...
They often don't fire in the same place, even when you do the same thing.
Pressing 1 ensures they will, for some reason.

I like how
there's actually quite a bit of waiting. It builds up the suspense because the chainguns are going to kill the ninja if he doesn't move. Yeah, it's the first time I think waiting is used well. 5
