There's something about the tiles of this map just fascinates me. Knowing from personal experience, minimalistic maps are hard to pull off without being boring or too short to enjoy. Yet here it thrives. Along with the enticing use of one-ways. This map leaves me speachless. No, seriously, no comment. — IodineEnvy

Actually, I agree with you both.
I freely admit that I was perhaps being a bit too harsh, but if it means better reviews are written, then it's a hit I'm willing to take. I was also going to mention zoasBE as someone who, despite not being a native English speaker, uses that second (or third) person to ensure the review is up to a high standard. To set an example, from now on, I am going to send each review I draft to two other people, to check for errors and improvements.

All reviews are welcome here. If you have a review, send it over to the Creature Feature workshop: CLICK ME [docs.google.com]
My nimble team of lexicographers and dictionarians will fix it right up and post them for you at a later date. Anyone is able to contribute or proofread a review.
(PS Pizzles has better maps.)

The review fails to elaborate the map's merits, instead resorting to lazy writing e.g. something about this map is fascinating, map leaves me speechless. The map is far from minimalistic, imo, because it has so many aesthetic and gameplay flourishes. See purl=http://www.nmaps.net/234046]Canalamo or Ptl. Mam. [nmaps.net] for minimalist mapping styles.
There's no need to be so harsh over a poorly-worded review like this one. Nobody here is writing for academia. Map choice and discussing the map are far more important. One of my favourite reviewers, zoasBE, doesn't have perfect grammar, but he has great choices and knows how to sell them.
The one-ways were really awkward to move around in, especially with the odd tile bits, and sometimes the two gausses are too punishing. I managed an AGD though.

Triple check your work; run it through a reliable spellchecker, including for heterographs and homophones. [en.wikipedia.org] This includes making sure your tags aren't malformed.
Having someone who is proficient in English to proofread your work is recommended, and a requirement for those who don't use English as a first language. I find that reading what you've written out loud is a reliable way to uncover syntactical mistakes that you might have otherwise missed (such as IodineEnvy's errant omission of "that" within his review). It's not uncommon for me to re-read what I've written five or more times to eliminate the potential for any mistakes that I will be unable to edit after submission.

IodineEnvy:
Please spell-check/proofread your reviews
There's something about the tiles of this map that just fascinates me.
You need the "that" because you started the clause with "there's". Read it out loud as you've written it, and you will understand. Furthermore, you misspelled "speechless". Also, a comma would have been better suited after "Along with the enticing use of one-ways"

You have an awesome style. Many new authors, I end up leaving, many multiaccounters too. I ask a favor of you to continue doing so good maps. Whoever you are, go on. Be honest, and let us enjoy so beautiful and appealing maps. Bravo! 5/5
