Description | This map was originally done for the tileset contest on the N Forums, but before I could refine it, I strted my summer job, and I didn't finish the stage on time. I feel bad that I missed the entry date, but I think the map is still worth submitting. I spent forever designing the drone paths, as well as shaping the stage for the gauss and the rockets. If you can get an AGD I will go strawberries...I mean, bananas!
Now, I'd like to point out all of my crummy Beatles themes in the tileset. First, and most noticeable are the submarines (guess what song THAT's from). I had a hard time working out the tails (no propeller), but I think they look not too bad-ish. Second are the diamonds in the center. I wanted to make the stage look like it was swirling around in a giant whirlpool, so I made the centers one-directional. Third are the walruses (as in "I am the Walrus")...right now you're probably thinking: "Walruses, I don't see any walruses!?!" Yeah, well that's just because I suck at tilesets. The walruses (or is it walri?) are on the right and left sides of the map, profile designs of walri/walruses, with the right one right-side-up (big and ugly). The things next to the walruses and the diamonds are supposed to be rising suns ("Here Comes the Sun"), and above and below the walruses are giant "B"s (as in the "B"tles). Finally, in the top-left and bottom-right corners are octopi (as in "Octopusses Garden"); they're the empty space next to the mines. Enjoi! |

Hmm...
I like the tileset. It's kinda cool, but the gameplay is pretty bad. 2/5

Hey brianlyao,
As for the gameplay, I wouldn't say it's bad, just hard; you need to know when and where to jump next.
