Description | NOTE: play this stage in Ned.
Now, most of you are probably thinking of something that I shouldn't type here, so please (f you are one of the people who looks at the name of this map and starts laughing) be more mature (or go play something from Captain B.). For those of you who didn't just go on to the next map on the page, I have named this stage for a strange phenomenon that is commonly observed with trampoline teleporters (if you don't know what these are, you're in the wrong place). Friction; (okay, stop giggling. seriously.) it appears as a giant wave of gray color. I was interested in how this dust is created, so I came up with a litle experiment: a single gap in the middle, with two trampolines on either side. I then proceeded to try out different levels for the trampolines. The level I provide here is set to the best level for generating friction without killing the ninja. After I found the right power, I asked myself, how do different tiles affect friction? That is the question this entire map is based off. First, now tiles at all (besides "e") will generate a constant amount of friction, until the ninja hits the bottom trampolines. Then, I put a botom 5 tile below the ninja, and I could generate friction without the ninja ever stopping. Finally, I started changing up the other tiles around the ninja. I have supplied the coolest variations I discovered with the generator on the bottom (simply copy and paste them into the generator to use them. This experiment means a lot to me (why else would I type all of this?), in fact, it's the best experiment I've ever conducted. I encourage you all to experiment with ths stage, too, and tell anyone else who might be interested. Post any tiles that worked well so that other people can try them out, too, and talk about what they did, and how they compare with other tile patterns. |

I am sorry.
I should not have argued with karmapOlice. I thought your map was very cool. Especially how you gave tiles that made all different types of dust, and how you still survived them. I hope you don't stop making maps because I think they are great!

i was just messing around with this and i made this.

Too bad
that all this has given you negative publicity and has brought the attention of your map.

I have to agreed with schaff
(this) has been done many times before, in several differant fashions, but still the same base concept. Even I have done one! NR, sorry :/

Sorry for getting you into this
I really do like the map, though.
And karmapolice... You jumped to conclusions, started name-calling, and then became very defensive of your "opinion." You need to calm yourself.

@karmapOlice
I saw that you made a demo. The really cool thing about this map is its many variations. There are 10 others besides the first one. The ones on the bottom are much cooler. Also, it is fun to mess around with, and try to make your own tile in the middle.
2009-06-02
wow..
sweet, don't care what anyone else thinks. 5/5
adam, I don't mean to insult you, but the whole situation is really fishy
Entropy, trust me, you are the idiot. If you're going to babble on about others being idiots and not playing the map, well I have a demo posted, so clearly you have some problem. and just because you find the stupid grey cloud amazing (which was used in 'modern dda' by riobe I believe MUCH better) doesn't mean everyone's going to 5aving this, so breath a little, I have the right to my own opinion

Wow karmapOlice you are an idiot.
This is a genius idea, and you probably did not even play it. The whole map is to cause the massive gray clouds. Use the tiles on the bottom for even cooler things. Like continuous streams of the gray cloud.
