Description Heh, I actually drew this map out in a boring maths class, on pen and paper. I've only made a few tweaks, so ratings disabled in case I want to make some drastic changes later. I'm pretty pleased with how it plays, what do you think?

mine placement around there was annying as well.

I'm glad you're developing an opinion on maps; it's a good sign. The first section was intended to be a speed section rather than a slog. See the demo. Also, the chaingun was meant to be pretty isolated; otherwise I'd have taken mintnut's advice and let it roam a little.

in shadows on chairs and lamps and stuff like that. said maps often turn out badly. i'll play this now.

Different.

Nice job with the tileset,it is makes a great concept with the gameplay.Great mine placement,but the gold around the mine makes a boring gameplay,and the thwump makes it harder.Circular gold placement was not very nice,especially the little room where you start.Gauss makes a nice gameplay,when you try to get gold right of the gauss,it makes a nice gameplay.Chaingun didn't made any difference unless you're trying to get the gold around it.The zap drone was a good idea,when you try to unlock the door with the gold it traps you.The floor guards were defensive,I mean that it didn't made any difference,it doesn't moves,but it's there.The limited movement around the floorguards with the gauss is very good,and some of the floor guards,like the one in the upper left corner,but it makes good visuality,like placement of mines.I hope this is a kind of comment you want to hear about this map.
