Look for other maps like this, and find whats good about them, play them. After you figured out what makes a map good, make some of your own. Submit them, and look for critisism in the comments. Reflect upon this critisism, and try to make a better map. Remember that you can't plaese everyone, so also look for what people like about that same map.
