Map Data

Description As you can see i am making a lot of levels in one day. That's because I have a notepad full of them because I started making levels long before I became a member on Numa.

Edited.

Quickie.

3.75\5. Some kinks, like the unnecessary trapdoor, but still fun.

3.5/5

VERY GOOD

Yes

Thank you for your comments nexx.

Hmm

After further review, I think I would give this 4/5. I still like it for the reasons I gave earlier, but, well, 2 things:
(1) Some parts are a bit finicky, namely the right-most gold area.
(2) I was including my "journey" of playing the map in my judging. As you can tell, I had a good time, but the way I rate is not supposed to include that.

Anyway, I just wanted to clarify this for my own purposes. Enjoy the 5 I already gave you!

Also, in case you're wondering about the "journey" thing, I'm sure you've loading up some map that's easily a 2/5 from the front page before and entertained yourself by playing around in it. Maybe you discover a route that gets all or most of the gold and then you start trying to get faster runs and innovate the route and such. You may be entertained, but that's because the game is fun to play. It doesn't change the fact that it's not a good map. See what I mean?

Nice work

You've got a good underlying visual concept, you've applied a good general object placement scheme to it (gausses, mines, and gold), you've provided a lot of variation on that scheme to keep it interesting (i.e. you vary gauss coverage and length of overhang), AND about 2/3 of the way in, you've added in a variation on that theme (the rocket) that effectively spices up the gameplay. So not only do you have all that, but you also get the difficulty about right and you provide a fair amount of nuance for speedrunners.

This is what I call 4.5 rounded up. 5/5 :)

And here's a pretty fast AGD for you:

Yup,

my first day on NUMA, I submitted 7 or 8 maps. Now, I still submit a lot of maps, but more like 3 or 4 a day, unless I have stuff to do. :)

BTW, 4/5.

Bug fixed
