I have nothing against bluenin. I do, however, have a problem with DDA's getting featured, because it'll stay on the featured page for days and people will rate 5 without even watching it.

while I think action maps should (and thankfully, do) make up most of the features, I like the occasional DDA or N-art to mix things up. I wish people would feature non-actions (not counting races) a little more often, actually :/

You're logic is undeniable
yet must people have realized that although Arcane Mages are at a disadvantage to the multi-tier system, proper immunity buffs can negate reversals without eliminating most of the positive passives that we have grown to love. mana costs are therefore relevant for most parties

You're ignoring the removal flux.
It happens reliably every time a block cycles out, like clockwork. Removal of all forms are suddenly better, as players take too long to adapt to a format with three sets less than they are used to. Maps that used to be staple are now meh at best. It's times like these that so-called "over costed" maps can come out of nowhere and catch your opponent off guard. Rogue is the way to go in these early days of rotation, and price is nary an issue.

this map costs too much mana to play
as it is it's easily countered and dies to any sort of spot removal, not to mention the current Standard metagame is dominated by midrange fatties like Baneslayer Angel who simply end the game before it gets to a point where playing this card would make any difference at all.

Your reviews could use a little more effort. It just seems like your reviews are always "I thought it was good, so here it is. Play it." That's neither informative nor interesting. The feature system isn't just about highlighting good maps, it's also about providing little blurbs of text that serve as an introduction to the map. They needn't be informative, IMO, but they can't be uninformative AND uninteresting. That defeats the point. I know you've got reviewer skills in you. Let's see you use them more.

Two things:
The multi-line quote is supposed to be tabbed, which apparently NUMA will not do. Second, Pawz, it's New Year's Eve every day in my little world. Any coincidental alignment with a real New Year's is entirely...coincidental.
