Description	Dear Sendy: A friend once asked me if Trees feel cold and alone when they loose their leaves. The answer, of course, is that Trees go through a natural cycle that is much like sleeping every winter, and it does not mean that they are losing anything. The ground gives them sustenance, and they return something to it. It is natural. It is their purpose. I only noticed while I was out on my street today how unlike trees are to humans. Is it so strange for me to wish I were a tree? Smort.
