The last bit seems overly hard/nearly impossible

It's possible to get into the left shaft and get the exit switch, but I just can't get out of it. Not once in maybe 20 tries. I'm sure it's "possible", but avoiding the gauss gun seems to be entirely up to luck. Which doesn't make for a fun time for me. I like hard maps that take skill to defeat, not just good luck. Unless there's some trick I'm not seeing to getting out alive, this map is not one of those that I like.
