Description I know most of you are going "Great another Machine" well if so then just don't vote, its ok. But if you enjoy this shit, the go ahead and say so.

In the modern world the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” is quickly changing to “It might be a good idea to read the book with the fancier cover, and later the ugly-covered book, just in case.” For years America has walked the fence on the relationship between looks and value. We’ve become more accepting of what was once “weird” or “ugly” an yet may rely more on appearances than we once did (even when the appearance is what was once “weird”). But who is to say looks are not a good factor, to some degree, when making judgements. At the races, one would naturally pick the trim dog over the fat one. You’d trust the shiny car over the rusted dent-ridden jalopy when riding cross-country. So wouldn’t you rather have a clean-cut, sharp dressed president over one with frizzled hair, donning a wrinkled t-shirt? If one can’t take care of personal hygiene, surely one cannot manage a whole country. Television is a preview of what is to come from the candidates shown. Its effect on the people is informative, granted they know where to watch. It’s true that political ads have come along way as far as mudslinging, with words being contorted and acts being exaggerated. But when the candidate themselves tell you what their beliefs, ideas, and plans are, you form an opinion on them based on facts which you may have not gathered if not for the television broadcast. Even if the person running ends up not sticking with what they said, you still learn facts, the fact that they are a liar. The incorporation of the television in presidential elections has brought the candidates’ views into the public eye, and reestablished the connection once felt between the electorate and the electee. Along with showing how the candidates look, act, and speak ( in front of audiences, during debates, while being interviewed) the television has made it easier for campaigners to show voters their opinions on political issues. Television has revealed the man behind the ideas as far as elections go, and is a fair way of being informed, as each candidate has the same ability to represent themselves and their opponent.
