It's true, mainly in the areas in which you have to walljump up through a small column, such as in the very middle and the middle-right area, the mines are placed in a way that if you go quickly, you die.

it's all about huggin the edges. I think the mines give it an edge, so you can't just cheat your way down - it makes you follow the more visually interesting path.

alot of those mines are placed so that you die if you follow the course to the fastest and proper path...and i dislike that...

one more thing..
for the last little bit at the end - make sure you JUMP over the thwumps - you have to be fast - but it is quite possible. Oh and don't jump when things start to get.. skinny.

The only thing..
that I didn't like was the row of jump pads in the beginning. More often than not, I timed the jump exiting the pads wrong, and was slung into the mines. Other than that, its a nice map.
