Description i know, i know, its short dull, and doesn't have many close calls, but i was just trying to get some ideas from you guys. It took me an hour and the only positive thing I have to say is it has no fake deaths, so its user level- friendly

The end sucked, and the level lacked the fast paced dodging that better levels had. 3/5

the rockets were close, but u used the doors too much... otherwise, the endiing is .... lets say: direly unamusing... (sorry for that) Otherwise great First Map.

gold delay?

Ok, I havent experienced or heard of gold delay before... I know it has something to do with slowing frame rate to change positions or somehting, but can somebody explain it better to me?

and if you really hate the length, i do appologize, but im sure we can all recognize there is much more to know, but i didnt really want to spoil creativity...sooo...be happy its only that long... :)

a few things

the point of rockets is of course dodging, but you tended to kill them with doors more then anything, doors are not bad, they are your friend, but when mainly used for that purpose, not very interesting...

gold delay can be your best friend and worst enemy, ppl hate too much of it, you didnt excede the amount in general, but when you used it, it was way too much in one spot, use that extra time to do other stuff, if the rockets not ocming to you fast enough, go to it and make it look stupid, gold delay is best used to make those several frames from death 1 or 2 frames, and to make sure he is launched to the right spot, since some dda's use the same pad for more stuff, timing when the pad affects the ninja is a way to use the same pad, but actually send him to a slightly different spot, allowing you to continue the dda without too much repitition, which can also be good and bad depending on the amount...

good use of thwumps to keep n alive, that type of thing is very good to add, you may wish to explore way of cheating death, though bad if used excesivly, it can also be a good edition, especially if the ninja is surrounded, and its the only way out...

also try to use tiles as more of a way to move the ninja, sliding down and also rebounding(as you did) can give more options of what to do next, and adds basically no load time, which is always good for longer dda's

i know ive been terribly specific with some of this, and i know im not exactly a great dda maker, ive only made one, it was ok....

This is pretty good, you have some good ideas here, now just work on putting more of them in for more close calls and more action

this is decent for a first dda, if you keep at it you could realy get good.
the use of thwumps was well done.
