Description | 15 years. For 15 years N1.4 has been alive and running. Throughout those 15 years we've seen many of times. Mapping had only just begun at the time of its release; the earliest styles had just begun to branch out. There was already tremendous creativity.
To the Golden Age. A time where hundreds of authors were active, creating in a myriad of styles, and hundreds of maps a day were being made and posted. Where the community was booming with maps, projects, contests, and competitions. Where a multitude of players were competing and innovating runs for both Metanet maps and NUMA maps. Then the time where, despite dwindling activity, the community was still posting maps and engaging. A time where many mappers became busy with life and would seldom drop by and say hi. And now here we are. 15 years later. Slowly reuniting and seeing more and more maps being made once again. Our community is still here. Some members coming back, some members gone. But we still stick together and keep playing 1.4. The game that brought such a large number of us together. The game that stands as the final version of the original N. The game that just recently turned 15 years old. ------------------------------ Enjoy this wonderful guest collab featuring, by order of first edit: RandomDigits [nmaps.net] jasdanu [nmaps.net] lord_day [nmaps.net] lifdoff [nmaps.net] Etothetaui [nmaps.net] Amibe [nmaps.net] southpaw [nmaps.net] lsudny [nmaps.net] |

I think this is fairly successful!
About the best you can do with so many cooks in the kitchen, which is not a knock on its quality, good level.

Death demo.
Yeah, it feels very cohesive. At first we had a rule of 5 modifications per turn, but we quickly forgot about that rule. Still, if you look at the sequence of edits, every change was fairly small. I think that's how we were able to make it as seamless as it is.

Fluid play, solid map.
It's really impressive how a map with this many contributors can have such seamless transitions between its sections and feel so consistent overall.

WE DID IT!!!!
As being one of the authors of the map, I'm obviously gonna love it. But I just want to say thank you for everyone that participated and worked on getting this collab done in celebration of N1.4 turning 15 a few days ago.
