Description This is the first map I wanted to put in this gallery. I really tried to make it work in n1.4 but for some reason you still get zapped by the floor guard as you stand on the panel above it and also through 1/2 tiles worth of ceiling :s
And its too hard a map to play in n1.4 anyway.

My point is that I'd like NUMA to be the place where all n game mappers showcase their best work.

I run with Windows XP, and I'll never update my computer just because no.
I'll never get Nv2.0 anytime soon. Never.

I'm on Windows 7 and have never had a lag issue. I don't know if it's that much worse on 8 but I'm certainly not going to nv2 anytime soon. :P

Purely

from an aesthetic perspective, I prefer the tower where it is rather than in the middle. The objects are the main thing that should be reworked.

I dunno about centering the tower, the idea was that there is wilderness behind the tower, but maybe I could've moved it slightly further to the middle. I admit all that empty space bothered me a tiny bit.
About the thwump room, to clear both thwumps in one jump all you need is bravery lol, and if u dont rush clearing them one by one is easy (u have to do it on the way back).
I find the floor guards quite therapeutic actually, and they are the reason for why I gave up trying to make this map possible for N1.4

Welcome to NUMA!

There are some things I liked about this map, but some things I didnt like. I really enjoyed some of the gameplay. The drone room and the gold placement at the bottom was interesting and I liked the rocket on the top. There are some parts of the map that are impossible to complete though. The thwump room, in paticular. The floorguards were pretty irritating. Generally, don't hide objects behind tiles. It's frustrating. There are also some unnecessary objects (clumped mines, the double one ways). Cutting those out will make the map look nicer. And as far as looks go, I've seen some horrifically ugly maps for first time submitters. I'm glad to say this one wasn't. Center your tiles next time for a cleaner look. All in all, there were good and bad points in your map. Keep working at it and play LOTS of maps for inspiration and ideas. 3.5/5 rated up. Hope to see more of you.
