MBD
could you give me a quick explanation?
I definitely do not want to make one myself, I am just dying of curiosity on how you managed to type in your own demo without playing it ;)

So I don't wanna seem biased or anything, but hey guys, if I were you and I was accussed of fbf'ing, I would download NReality. I still can't find any reason why its not a good idea to use it, even the fact of playing levels is just easier for not having to use those damned Ned controls. I mean, shit, it would be so easy to solve these sort of arguments on NUMA by just using NReality.
Well at a first sight it doesn't seem fbf'ed to me. Although some of the reasonings some people gave (the fact that its far from fbf quality) doesnt prove anything, as you can see tons of badly executed fbf runs (because lets admit it, fbf its pretty different from realitime so obviously it takes time to master it). The fact that its pretty beatable wouldnt prove anything neither, after all, that how most misty's fbf'ed runs end up as well.
So yeah to sum up that didn't seem like an fbf to me. The only thing that surprised me from that run was the final chimneying, which really contrasted with the rest of the run.

calm down dear
it's only a commercial.

And sure
NReality would be a good way to prove finally that the run is real time. Make no mistake -- I'm not going to deny that.

<Meta> I mean, there are two types of fbf runs as far as I'm concerned
<Meta> the kind where the person is good at fbf
<Meta> where the run is very difficult or impossible (except for kool) to replicate in real time
<Meta> and then there are the mediocre fbf run
<Meta> mediocre fbfers tend to make stupid mistakes, random stops, and bad route choices that can easily be avoided by playing the map in real time
<Meta> dagga's run showed neither of these traits
That's all I'm going to say about this. I don't have the energy or willpower to argue about this, so take what I say or leave it.

Gotta proofread my comments before posting. Another thing I forgot to add towards the end was this statement, "With these observations, his is more likely to be real-time as opposed to FBF."

I can support Meta's statement.
FBF'd runs generally exhibit a jittery pressing over the right and left keys to give a very clean run. Using the editor, I plugged in his faster AGD and used the "DISPLAY STATE" function on the left side of the latest version of NReality. It shows not signs of pushing the button rapidly and can give some validation that his run is not FBF. He's also using some common techniques, like that wall jump near the corner to get to the lower part of the map and the final chimney to the exit (which is not that hard).
As far as "proving" it's FBFed goes, there's equal proof it isn't. It's a simple tap tap - tap tap - tap tap up that tube with a mechanical keyboard that I have it's really quite easy.
You can also see at the top I started missing the jumps going too fast in FBF I would be flawless.
Don't call me out on my runs again and I'll stop pointing out the obvious. I play this game for 3-4 hours a day, I'm damned to get good at it.

But seriously, though...
It hit really hard. She was really the perfect girl for me, but that's life. It doesn't always provide the lemons, and it's seldom quite green. However, I'm getting good at dealing with stuff like this, having matured at an early age and having the best of friends surrounding me. :)
I may map some time again. But for now, I'll let me enjoy being me.
