The reason is not because of the parabole, but rather because hitting the lp from such height makes it like less effective, it launches you lower. You don't even hit the oneways.

hmm after reading the comments i feel my demo is less special lol

what's interesting is that i survived falling from lp jump

answers:

1. Slipping includes a neat concept, but the map itself is empty (a prototype, right?). If it gets advanced, I think it'll be a cool jumpermap.
2.here's first prototype for conceptual map: http://pastebin.com/Cxjj9dXv
I'll update the paste as soon as I finish it (if it's good enough to continue) or add second concept-map
3.Yes, we do need.. Idea: each one of us makes 2 simple maps, and one collab-like. Like transforming styles, some sort of future vision (future vision.. and idea for map name, lol).
4. I'll make one, yeah, once I'm finished all main stuff there. It just feels a lot of work must be done, so I'm doing everything by priority, so I wont get confused :D
5.Oh. Well, I'll write a text file later about that, okay? My mind is all about mechanics now, you see.

I'm happy you enjoyed the tiles :D
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask, it disciplines me also. :D

hahaha, it's cool. If you hit the launchpad and you don't do anything special you die on the floor, but if you do the properly parable you can survive.. haha, shit like this used to learn things..

Yes, me too.
Interestingly play this crap two years later, and see how it is not as bad now having learned many things and how to play. I like the puzzle-ish elements here in which you have to know how to use well the launchpads to get a good run. And a good run is still an interesting challenge here.

A bit faster is possible.
