If someone is dumb and boring enough to get flustered at people not bothering with their stupid maps then I'm happy to see them cordon themselves off so no one has to look at them ever again.

While I can understand hating certain members, and I agree that numa has an excess of mindless commenting, yeah.. that's it, I don't think I have anything in particular to say, actually >.<

You've come into the community at a time beyond its golden days. Most of the remaining members (and some new ones) know what they're doing, and they are tired of seeing the same old noob maps. Not that that justifies their actions, but it may explain a generally unfriendly community. There are also always a few people who are just mean. Undoubtedly you've come across such people in real life too, no?

apakenua's second post addresses the two-map limit rule. As for the site itself being not-so-hot, that is an unfortunate reality. apakenua's first post addresses that when it talks about NARC.

Ultimately, my advice is that you needn't mesh in with the larger community. Just make a few friends (based on similar maps or similar mapping abilities) and map as long as you have interest. That's the best way to enjoy NUMA, IMO.

I hope you both know that nobody on NUMA is going to be fond of switching to a new system. A forum not designed specifically for maps. A forum that, if a person were to switch, they would be leaving 99% the community behind. Now while the community isn't very well suited for minors who can't handle sarcasm, swears, and other such things. Most people happen to either like it, or have no option but to make due. If you don't like it. Make maps, use your forum for you and your friend here to store them on, and get each others opinions.

2 maps on the first page of maps. If you uploaded eight, five-minute maps it would push down all the others that people have worked hard on. It's not being mean, it's just being fair.

MrMorbid: I found the map (The DDA). Nude|_ is a noob, you shouldn't listen to him very much. He joined just before you guys did. He could have said it nicer. Just because he didn't put it in the nicest way you could doesn't mean everyone does. I would have said: "Hey man, you may want to lay off the lauchpads. They're normally frowned upon in DDAs... I'm not sure why. :/"

I don't want to "Get to Know the Mods." I don't want to be some big NUMA user. I'd just like to upload a map with someone telling me it was good or not. Not under some Sarcasm or Metaphor. For example, Themicster had a pretty good DDA. And a guy told him it was trash because it had too many springs. When the name of the Level is Spring Around the World. It's supposed to have alot of springs. Sure, maybe it's failed. But at least we tried to give the Internet a good N Map Forum.

and thats not it i can only post 2 maps per idk how long till its off the hot maps post and no one ever gives credit to youre stuff they only bring them down.

Secondly, I see where you're going with this. I noticed your profile on the forum; age 14. True, when I first joined, I was a bit insulted. But the more you get to know these guys (most of them are great) you'll see that they're not out to get you. Sarcasm is a big thing here, if you haven't noticed.
If you're offended by swear words, I would suggest getting Profanity Filter for Greasemonkey, available on Firefox. Alternate Profanity Filters are available for Internet Explorer and Safari if you're stubborn.
It's obvious that you've put work into your forum; I just don't feel like anyone will end up using it. NUMA is going to end sometime, we're just not going to go to your forum. NARC is in the process of being made, check it out on http://www.forum.ninjarobotyeti.com/index/
Go to any discussion, and at the top of the page will be a thread discussing the status of NARC.
Then again, NUMA does need some haters. Last one was MeatPuppet. I loved that guy.
