But getting first in Numacon does entitle you to a feature... so it all balances out.

there is no january numacon, for some reason.
also it's been a rule of thumb to submit no more than 5 maps a day. but im sure you won't exceed that!

Numacon is a competition held by the powers that be of NUMA every month.

It is a themed contest - all you have to do is submit a map with the tag they have provided and you're in to win. They aren't doing in January ( they're on holiday :P ) but next month is promised to be really good. More details are on the homepage somewhere. But if you're looking for a competition fix, you can always check the forums.

NUMACON

is a contest held monthly based loosely on a theme you have to follow. When January comes you can enter it's pretty simple. Have fun ;D

when you're a pro, or even well known, you can spend no time at all on a map and get second in numacon :P [nmaps.net]

But two on the front page of hotmaps is considered the max -the general statement is you should be spending time on your maps, or at least space them out :)

There should only be two of your maps on the hot list at a time. When two of your maps are moved to the next page you may submit another. Continue mapping, I like your style a lot.

Yes, indeed I did.

The gauss turret worked well - the thumps were also good as they not only served as enemies, but platforms and walls to help get that better time. Gold was placed in good places, and although I usually don't liked box mines, it complimented the map. It was simple, fun, and a good allrounder.
