I love the inevitability of this.
There's just this beautiful sense of powerless tension, and while you can survive indefinitely there's just no point in doing it. It really is spectacular.

Spoiler Alert
You can go party with the gold at any time if that's where your priorities lay, but if you wait too long the chaingun should be blocking your way. But if you can keep it shooting you (and therefore not moving) for as much of the time as possible, it's possible to get all the other objects and still make it into the gold room before the chaingun blocks you. Plus if you mess up and the chaingun gets too far ahead of you, you can skip some stuff to still get to the gold room safely. That (along with aesthetic/atmospheric purposes) is why the top has door keys and the bottom has exit keys, if you get all of one kind it can be an accomplishment in itself.
Here's a demo of basically everything. I missed one exit key and I need to delete the door key that's impossible to get.
