If your stuck in a rut for mapping ideas, you could simply try making tilesets.
Y'know, some more of these awesome tiles, with a ninja and an exit, maybe a gauss or a rocket to suggest how the tiles can be used.

I love those all little tricky jumps you had to execute. Amazing tiles, too.

The only thing I didn't really like is the gold placement. Don't know why, I just didn't like it. Apart from that...
