that initial gold up with the rocket

is really good, because it is difficult to get, but doesn't appear to be so.
In you next map however, I just didn't like the surprise thwumps.

I like the

tiles and mine placement. I think the gold placement could be improved if it was placed in a consistent pattern/shape. The rocket and gausses are a nice choice of enemies :)
