Description | "This map is a trip. A journey if you will. It starts off unobtrusively enough, your ninja treading softly through lonely halls. However as you progress it becomes increasingly apparent just how frail your ninja’s hold on life is. Around every corner lurks a dead machine, every room a trap waits to be sprung. Soon there is no turning back. Only that familiar pale yellow glow urges you onward. As you ascend through the twisted ruins, you realize that this journey is far from over. The story is only beginning."
This map is a trip. The first line says it all. Every room is regular, square and generic, and in every room the same gold pattern is in the top left corner. <squibbles> ok, so before you play it <squibbles> I wanted to make a map that made the review as much like something that I'd write as possible <squibbles> so, this map is an acid trip map <squibbles> all the rooms are regular rooms <squibbles> boring squares <squibbles> all the gold is in a regular pattern, in the top left of each room <squibbles> that's the reality of the map <squibbles> not what is percieved while playing it <squibbles> I'm not /that/ audacious <squibbles> :P <squibbles> but yeah, just bear that in mind while you play <squibbles> hell <squibbles> the ninja probably isn't even moving Huge thanks to Furry for playtesting it and proving that the concept works. <furry> fuck, those seekers scared the crap out of me squibbles <furry> :O <furry> I think the part at the end with the floorguard and the thwump could possibly be toned down a bit. <squibbles> the thwump doesn't move, though <squibbles> it's purely psychological <squibbles> :S <furry> huh, i swear it moved .____. <furry> nevermind <furry> thats cool then. <furry> i must be so freaked out by this map <furry> that i can't even think straight |

It's interesting
but it seems drawn out and trying too hard to be off-kilter. I guess it suits the concept well, but found it a little tedious moving between the interesting points.
I also don't see how it fits the review, especially the beginning.
Saying that, I like how you worked the chaingun section, and the thwumps/fg were cool.

I have experimented with acid before
and must say that if I were to turn my trip into an n map, this isn't exactly what it would look like ;p hahah Still a fun map though. I like face. 4/5

Here is a great run, almost an AGD
then that gauss nails me. Ah well, cool map. Not my first choice for map that fits the theme, but it plays really well.
