No enemies equals no fun? Here is a map which proves the opposite. AMomentLikeThis is well-known for his preference of simplicity and challenging concepts. If you throw both styles in a mixer, you'll get a perfect shake like '64-4 Unsuspecting Victim'.

In this example, precise jumps are necessary. Surprisingly, they don't become repetitive or frustrating. In other words: It's just fun to go for the gold. Well done, Sir Simplicicus! — Chrdrenkmann

of previously unfeatured map makers.

I am sure there are a slew of worthy maps, from relative unknowns. The features have seemed almost nepotistic recently.

but I think this is a cool way of using one-ways as semi-trapping hazards. can create a nice charm on the use AMLT gave to this, but I think there are some other maps he got that are also more "worthy" of a feature than this, but it's pointed mainly at it's item use. the tiles gave a bit of 'nice' as well. 4.5v

I agree with miststalker, seven_two, maxson and mystro. This map is just boring. And yes, the jumps may all be slightly varied, but the core mechanic is simply boring. You can't create an interesting map around a boring mechanic no matter how much variation you put in.

To all of you who spent more time writing about this map than playing it, it's actually quite well set up. Faved.

I agree wih maxson, I mean I see how one could argue the differences but the only real difference is the length of the jumps. Which isn't entertaining as it is repeatative. I mean it's just too simple to keep my attention and being a 64-4 map I would expect more enemies other than mines and stupidity of getting caught by the one ways.
Also the looks of this is by far disgusting. Tommy you can attempt to argue the gameplay but the looks are dreadful, and not even close to amlt's other maps.

But

Most gold areas have variances which alter the gameplay, whether it be number of mines, length of gold tunnel, amount of space under them, etc. It's not the same mechanic over and over again, but subtle differences which smartly change gameplay without straying far from the idea of the map.

As for the difficulty curve, the gold areas at the upper half were harder than the ones in the lower half. There's your curve.
It's just the exact same game mechanic repeated over and over again, about 5 times too many, and with no real difficulty curve. If that is not the very definition of boring in N, I don't know what is.

That said, I'm happy AMLT got featured, because he doesn't have as many as he should given not only the quality of his maps, but the sheer number of his maps.

Beat it on my second try. I agree with Chrdrenkmann, no one has skills.

Intriguing map. Could have used more variety but I wasn't bored.

Genuine! Gratz on feature.

I really like it

But the left corner part make it too boring.
Without this part this is great map and Agd keep being fun.
Thanks for the feature. I myself don't find this map that repetitive - each jump requires a different level of judgement. I kinda have to agree with Chdrenkmann on this that maybe you just don't have the skills, sorry. :x

You're doing the same low jumps to clean out 9 clusters of objects, and when you mess up (which is extremely easy) you always end up in undeath.

To be honest,

I think it's too long and tedious.
