I changed my mind once the image loaded.
Quite drastically. I tried to give an honest rating, and thus rather then just going "WOOOOO, 5aved!", I rated it based on what the ratings mean, and now I'm giving a constructive comment, in the hope that you'll take it in. And that I don't get revenge sniped. Because that would blow, especially since I'm attempting to do something actually useful.
Alright. First off, the concept was brilliant. I want to just get that out of the way straight off. Very cool. :)
Unfortunately, your execution was a bit lacking. Firstly, the mines and gold. Why were they also on the background image, that just confused me. :S
If you were unable to remove them for some reason, you should've made them a different colour on the sprite then on the background, so you could tell which had been collected.
Secondly, the lower mine in the leftmost tunnel. That was a real bitch. Absolutely horrible, and it took me a few plays to work out why I was randomly exploding when I went up there.
Third, this map is a perfect example of what makes a "good" map. Meaning it was generic and boring. There was nothing interesting in the gameplay, and the only reason why I might replay it is for the images. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm trying to be honest. Granted, in theory it's a good map, but it's boring as hell. That is my excuse for such a drastic change in opinion. After playing it a second time, I found it not at all interesting.

Finally, the map was unfocused. The middle area was stupidly hard; you had to contend with a gauss, and laser, a floorguard and a chaingun, all simultaneously, compared to areas of the map where there is only one enemy, or in some areas, not even that many. This inconsistency made the map frustrating, and it lured me into a sense of ease, right before sodomizing me. Had it gradually increased, it would have been better, but this did not occur.
All the points amalgamate to give me the overall opinion that this map is "Below Average", thus I gave it a 2/5. I think that had you not included images, the map would have been better, but you would not have gotten as many rates. I suppose it depends on what you want though. Do you want short-lived recognition, or to gift the community with good maps?
I suggest you edit this, and resubmit it without the images.
