| Description | So amlt brought up something earlier this weekend about the forums and their being ugly and unfindable to anyone. To anyone who doesn't know already, I mean... it's not like southpaw has put links to the forums in the last seventeen news posts, the forums are http://forum.ninjarobotyeti.com/ [forum.ninjarobotyeti.com] here. You can discuss things from your shoe size in the Pie forum, to debating the value of Ayn Rand's works in the Politics and Debate forum. There are countless threads for N mapping, rating, playtesting, map packs, contests, etc. I invite any and all of you to join in on it, especially those who haven't been there before! Just lurk a bit to get a sense of the forum etiquette before posting, please.
As for the ugliness, that's so fixable, I don't know why or /how/ amlt hadn't found this. The purple and orange mass you're confronted with at first is easily changed I can tell you how to change it in three easy-to-follow steps. 1. Log in 2. Go to the Board Preferences, located in your User Control Panel http://forum.ninjarobotyeti.com/ucp.php?i=165 [forum.ninjarobotyeti.com] 3. Change your board style (labeled 'My board style') to whatever and submit. Tada! That wasn't too hard, now was it? Love the laser drones.
The use of doors was cool too, as the laser drone at the bottom ended up going into that passage in the bottom, and the one at the top also added action. Would have loved some actual mines in too, but those lasers were good by themselves.
