even though i don't submit maps much anymore, i visit this site almost every time i'm on the internet; it's almost a reflex for me now, and i still look at maps and browse authors. i think i will be active enough to become a reviewer, and i would much appreciate the position. thanks for asking! :)

for making it 1 featured map a day and I love the idea that a non reviwer can do a review well done there ;)

you gave me a list of features and they were all from one day please make it 1 feature a day then that way its in a way more special well 2 features a day woulb be fine but on 30.12.09 there were 5!! please change it

Intermittently, when no “hot map” strikes my fancy I’ll click the lonely random button and permit the Fates to decide which maps to remove from the shadows of time and ignorance. It was on one such occasion that I discovered Tempus_Fugit, a sporadically appearing author who, despite apparent praise by notable mappers, eluded mention on all “favorite authors lists” (mine excluded). Well, now I intend to give his three cats the attention they deserve. Garland is brilliant because there is no escape, and survival shall only be granted by keeping your wits about you under pressure.

Behold, the Fluent Machine. Other creations are humbled when compared to the marvelous mechanism. Appealing gold patterns lure players on an unconscious level. The tiles are exquisitely soothing; so much that one is relaxed as they are bombarded by the three sole enemies. Mines are carefully placed throughout to warn you and keep you on your toes, yet still blend naturally with the rest of the map.

Whether you are Italian, Russian, Madagascan, or just plain stupid, Fluent Machine connects on every level.

If you scroll through Guitar_Hero_Matt [nmaps.net]’s archive, you’ll notice that he made many maps which are, indeed, fantastic or even feature worthy. With Striking Fourteen, he created an absolutely stunning action-experience, full of beauty, atmosphere, and technical gimmicks that make you feel like fighting a tornado: floating oneway constructions, ripped tiles and swirling drones. “Casanova Rodeo” by shortshift is one of the most fashionable and smart maps up to date, and another proof of his artistic brilliance. It combines breathtaking action with a classy, graceful style and an ingenious ending. The tall cliffs above provide an unmatched atmosphere and some very nice variety in gameplay.
