Description | This is in some ways a turn for me.
I took a lot more effort into making this map pleasant, and found a great lot more enjoy in playing it afterwords I hope you will too 8D - Found inspiration for the tiles in Pheidippides' Free Disk Space [nmaps.net], although there might not be much of a resemblance |

I found undeadpie on the hot maps pages, being ignored by the masses. I looked through his last few maps, this one caught my eye immediately. The map is very smooth, it kind of melts together. There are very few safe spots so you are always on your toes, but it's never too much. The map is very intuitive, you never feel overwhelmed by enemies. — rocket_thumped

not a fast AGD
but a fun route to follow.
Lots of way to go, lots of things going on. I really like how the easiest way to go through an area just presents itself to you, like it's not obvious when you look at it, but when I played it the first few times, paths to everything just opened up.
great map.

4/5
I thought this map was very playable and had quite a good balance. I was determined to finish this map, and didn't get bored of it, which is unusual for me. I thought that perhaps there were a few to many switches, though.

I like some of the ideas
it just doesn't feel like a cohesive whole to me.

Not a bad map. Interesting style.
Not really sure what you mean when you say this guy was being ignored by the masses. I've just looked through his maps and they all seem to have at least 2 comments - that's above average for the modern NUMA, I'm sure.

I don't think it's messy.
Everything is there for a purpose and he doesn't put 50 mines/gold where only one is needed.
is that it probably would have looked really basic given the small, thin, simple tiles. Just my two cents.

Although, if this messy style
did appeal to me, it would have been a 5, so I will give it a 4. Just my taste. DD

This is fun gameplay wise.
The aesthetics are terrible. I just can't enjoy this messy style as much as a clean elegant one. 3.5
obviously that means I'm 5aving this. As for the review, the comma splices kinda annoyed me, but w/e. It was a good review otherwise anyway.
Awesome awesome feature. By contrast, here's a fail death demo:

I didn't like how the review just stopped.
But that aside this is a sweet map. I love it when there are very few places to hide, the map just comes together extremely well.
Great choice R_T.
