Description | I recently realized that I was dangerously close to 100 maps, and so I made this countdown map.
Keep in mind this is only my 2nd DDA, so it's not the best... |

tl;dr @ Why_Me.
Lots of close calls make a DDA; if you have a lot of good close calls, it doesn't matter what you put in it, launchpads or shit. Some of the best DDAs I've seen have been launchpad-only, but un-fucking-believably exciting.

Oh, and I forgot to add:
If you do make a map with a lot of launchpads and/or gold lag, make it original. Try to do something that either has never been seen before, or is just so awesome that it's totally worth it. This is what I did for my second map. I made a CDKRADDA (Catch the Drones Keep Rocket Alive DDA). But keep away from launchpads and gold delay as much as possible.

It's okay, but not great.
You need to use a lot less launchpads. It also needs to be much more interesting. Sadly, this is like the bulk of DDAs on Numa nowadays. I remember when awesome DDAs came out at least once a week or so. Anyway, for the next DDA that you make, make sure that it has as few launchpads as possible, and as many enemies as possible without spamming or lagging the map. Oh, and another thing; Gold delay, in a DDA, is a major no-no. It's worse than having launchpads. If possible, never, ever put gold delay in a DDA. It makes it much less entertaining, and ruins the map (IMO), as do launchpads. They are way too easy to make the ninja do whatever you want. Yes, you could make an awesome DDA with a bunch of gold lag and launchpads, but imagine that same DDA, but with no launchpads or gold lag at all. It would make it so much more epic. As of now, I'm debating whether this is worth a 3/5. Sorry, but I just don't think that you need 24 launchpads. And, before you say, yes, I know that this is only your second DDA. But for my first DDA, my first, I only had about 10 launchpads. And for my second...well, that had about 10 as well, but it was pretty epic. And those were my first. With 10. Now, I'm not just bashing on you - I'm trying to say that you can do better. I'll be looking forward to your next DDA. I hope that you take my advice.
