Wrong, apse.
This lad is allowed to map any way that he wants. developing an own style isn't done by out and out emulation of others, it's trying what feels right, and what is the best for the individual map maker. First maps are rarely great. I mean, I started with "generic" styles, and conventional ideas, and my style branched from just that. Nocturnil, if you're willing to do so, really put some effort in to develop that style the way that you want it to be.
you'll find while here most people will play your maps cause they've heard of you or cause you commented on their maps so you should get more attention with time me and the guy with loads of e's in his name were more specifically talking about the demoing situation.
Here is and agd agree with apse about the launch-pads :)

decent map
it's pretty ordinary really, but assuming it's your first, it's better than most. i would try and get away from the generic styles as soon as possible and go for something more extravagant. riobe's map at the top of hotmaps atm is a good example.
for the map itself, i thought the launchpads just provided an unnecessary level of annoyance because it was hard to escape from them once you got bouncing. mines would've probably been a better option.
you've obviously been around here for a bit or made maps previously. this [forum.therealn.com] is a good point of reference.
