Description ok so i've decided to take a smal break from my self-imposed restrction to map making. I talked with someone about the maps called "Simple challenge" and decided to try one myself. from what I know this is how they are set up, highly difficult mine jumpers.

PLease give me feedback on this Challenge Thanks!

I kinda need to go to bed now but I will be back tomorrow get a forums account if you don't have one and I can go through some of the basics of map making with you in the pms
thats just how i designed it. im bad at level making, curving mines is a little more advanced perhaps -.-

did you click on the paste bin link it has almost exactly the same gameplay but with nice aesthetics I did it as an example

but for this one the straignt mines were necessary... i will keep that in mind however
you should remember that high-scorers tend to play them tons of times and therefor waiting for unnecessary mines to load is not good. Remove these unnecessary mines and there is no reason not to make it look good as long as long as you keep the aesthetic theming simple.

curve the mines you do have and add a tile-set even if its only for aesthetics. Heres an example http://pastebin.com/m1404f4db [pastebin.com] tough it needs quite a lot more work it should give you an idea of the direction to go in.

Also you couldn't possibly check out and rate that map you were just on only it only needs one more rate to be rated thanks :)

thanks ill take all of that into account. Although I myself do enjoy simple challenges lol
it means a map with very few objects which requires a few simple maneuvers to complete but these maneuvers commonly have to be achieved to a very high level of accuracy.

Not all simple challenges are mine-dodging levels but these are common because mine-dodging requires very precise jumps which fits nicely with the theme of a simple challenge

Simple challenges come from tktktk's original 3 levels to see them go down to simple in the original n_1.4b userlevels.

This is almost a simple challenge but it uses rather to many objects most of them unnecessarily.

I don't like simple challenges make actions or puzzles would be better practically all simple challenges possible have been done and few of them are any fun.
