as to the map, I liked the general rushed, in a hurry feel, but there were akward parts where that feel was interrupted, like the corner with the exit switch and the gold. try to keep the "flow" (a very important word in the race genre) constant. otherwise, pretty cool.

Re: What's a GIF?

A GIF file is, simply put, a type of image file that ends in ".gif". You said you made the image in Paint; go to "Save as..." and see if it gives you an option as to the format. (BMP, or bitmap, is probably what you're normally saving the images as.)
