The man sat, waiting. He was only half-heartedly working on his next map, anticipating the next message, waiting... ...several minutes have gone by. He might have lost hope a little, but although it seemed like hours to him, his eyes were fixed staring at the top of the page, reloading every time his hopes were high. waiting...
