Ratings these days don't go down too well.
I've seen way too many fives and even fours given out, and it seems the average rating that is given out is a 4. If you look at the ratings, a rating of 2.5 is average as it is between better than and worse than average, so the average rating given out should be a 2 or 3.
To me this map would be rated a 1.5 on the old system as it is not very poor, but it is more than below average. However, we don't have that these days so I will be rating a 1. If you are disappointed with that, you shouldn't be as you are still learning the nuances of NED. Keep trying, and listen to the advice people give and you will make better and better maps.

Random E tiles, thought obviously went into making this. I'd only constitute this as a 1 if at least 2 of those criteria are filled. Therefore, I gave it a 2.

- I didn't say the tiles were great; I said they were better than average
- I can agree about the mines and the gold
- I didn't find the rockets to be useless at all; they did kill me on my first run, because I made a mistake, and that's when you should be killed
- I didn't notice that it was cheatable; furry should have placed the door further away and extended the tiles. But I think one door would've been uglier than two in this case, because it would just jut up from the ground and not connect to the top.
After all this, I would give it a 3.5, not 4.5, if I hadn't already rated. Besides, the average rating is 3; I think that's fairly appropriate.

i dont get it. i didnt like the gold placement, and the thwumps were pretty unnessecary imo, so 2.5^

The rockets were absolutely useless. I played this map 10 times, and didn't die once because of them. They also didn't provide any action.
The doors were ugly, don't use double doors. Plus they were useless, as you can see in my demo.

Considering everything
This was actually pretty fun to run through, if certainly with mistakes. Despite all, it was pretty solid, so I'll give it a 2.5
I had a lot of fun playing this level. I think a rating of 2 is pretty "fucked up" also :/

I didn't think it was thoughtless at all
The gausses probably could've been done a little better though. And the tiles were much better than average imo. 4.5^
