I'd love to review maps, and do exactly what i am advocating. Blackson i like you, i really do. I think your a really down to earth person, your one of the few people that keeps this community blooming. But right now, i'm stuck between to continue making maps, or leave because of this false criticism i've seen round since i've been here.

doesn't really mean much. Honestly, just putting maps on the front page is all you do.

I mean sure, i might love it. Infact i'll play it now. Adding to that, when was the last time you saw a negative comment on a popular author's map ?

If i was to be one thing on NUMA, i'd be a reviewer. I posted an email to numa.notdot.net, after a month. No reply. Ever since i joined NUMA i wanted to be one, i began to think all the reviewers maps where great because they all had 4/5 ratings and featured maps, but then it came across that maybe they're opinion isn't solely based on the map.

Some of the comments there refer to inspiration from PALEMOON, i mean sure. I AM INSPIRED BY PALEMOON, who isn't, BUT ONCE AGAIN they criticize the map not on gameplay or aesthetics, but because i based it on a style of an author i am inspired by. Nearly all the featured maps today are by authors inspired by other people. I just don't get it

numa wasn't always like this but it has gotten worse...
I mean I asked a friend who used to be on the old "numa"
and it was different...
now its based on popularity..
I mean, a person sees a cool looking map on the hot page but then looks at the author and decides not to play it cause of the author thats just not how numa was designed to be used...

although its always been about the communities response to peoples maps that make it worth it i thought. Some of the best times on NUMA i've had were getting great reviews of maps i made, sure i love making maps for myself, but i see myself as never being as good as you blackson, or yahoozy or PALEMOON or RF.

You should get the desired enjoyment from that. Everyone else's comments are just a bonus.

You make awesome maps, theres no really generic horrible or great maps. The best map is always you got the most fun or enjoyment out of, but unfortunately map criticism here is not based on that.

but don't make maps to get reviews, comments, or even rates anymore. Instead make a map so that you, as yourself, have made a map. Receive any ratings and/or comments as 'superfluous' and think of your next map. It's a shame to see you go, and I hope you reconsider.
