Pretty good for a starting dda, people should cut you some slack!

Yeah,

but that was only my first.
I didn't know anything about launchpad suckiness and stuff.

WOW and u insult my dda,

first of all, way too many launchpads
second no close calls
third wats the point of the trapdoors
fourth what the point of the thwumps
fifth, gay an boring
Whether it is jump pads in a line or even a line of trap door propulsion....just don't. In your DDA, most of the launchpads within the launchpad chains could be removed with no effect, and the extra launchpads add nothing except a load time. 2nd reason to never use chain propulsion: you should always have the ninja move either around, right by, or towards an enemy, which cannot be done with chain propulsion effectively.

Launchpads themselves are the simplest form of propulsion, allowing the ninja to go any direction instantly at any point of time, without restrictions, at a speed faster than rockets. Use this to your advantage: use the fast speed to be able to out-maneuver the rockets at a close range, and use the precision of the launchpads to get close-calls where the ninja is only pixels away from a rocket.

If you continue to make launchpad ddas, eventually normal enemies will become easier and easier to dodge. When that happens, Use Nreality enemies [nmaps.net].
just don't use chains of them. Try to make lots of close calls. There are other types of propulsion that make a DDA cooler so try to use those.

Perfect Example of a Good Launchpad DDA [nmaps.net]

But usually, no launchpads show more skill than using tonnes of launchpads.

dda stands for

dont do anything

next time, try to use as little launchpads as possible

launchpads are bad

in a dda

but oh well
