The laser placement here causes more frustration and annoyance than positive tension: It's either completely ineffectual or far too dominant.

Object placement is sub-standard, especially the mines (the loopy jumper trick is done to death) and the use of doors.

There's no dynamic to it and the difficulty curve spasms like a mule on heat.
