but it wasn't for tinkers that I quitted, I decided it a long time ago, but this was the time to say it.

O_O

First of all, congrats to crescor for getting a feature.

Second of all, I can seriously see tinker's reviewing status being revoked after this. Not because you featured this, you have every right to if you so choose (although this is annoying when compared with the rule feature) I can see this happening for two reasons.

1)Your views seem to contradict a little bit. You say this is an innovative hybrid unlike anything on NUMA, then in defense you say it's your average fun map. o_O
2)You seem to get into an argument with Skyray so easily... telling people to shut up and mouthing off at a completely valid remark isn't helping your cause.
3)Why do have a link to the map in the review? There's a thumbnail right above it. :P

The Important Ones

4)Once again, you've let another feature devolve into a flame-baiting call-and-response stage. Now almost everyone's immediately sidestepping the map and either saying "It's the worst feature ever" or "shut up tinkers", which entirely defeats the point of the feature.
5)Crescor's quitting NUMA now. Not saying this was entirely your fault, but it certainly seems to be a contributing factor. Quashing an author with the controversy behind a review is probably the worst-case-scenario.

That said, I didn't like the map, not because it got featured, but because I had a bad footing with it from the off. Apart from the thwump and mines, the enemies don't seem very well placed, and I hate the left hand rocket following you into the gold chamber. Don't tell me that was a gameplay device; it wasn't intentional. Other than that, it's very average. Imo, crescor's made much more feature worthy maps, and this single incidient has probably stopped anyone from featuring those that do deserve to be featured (which, if I'm being honest, some of crescor's other work does deserve to be featued based on gameplay, aesthetics, atmos, and all of the factors that should matter)I'll stand by my three tho, as there's certainly parts of the map which really work.

@ stalkr

why the hell do you care about holes in a tileset?
Atleast I tried something different and didn't do what everyone allready did.

one last thing:

'Crescor has been in need of a feature for a long time, and has finally created the map to get one'

This map was made long ago:)
thanks anyway:)

good moment to say

I quit NUMA,
I'll be on the occasional moment though, but won't make maps anymore, except on my collab account with hoohah, if he wants to.

haha

sweet
what are you claiming that i don't know, what are you saying i speak lies about

i said nothing of credibility, what you are trying to accuse me of is completely irrelevant.

@Life - that chimneying is insane
Demo Data
We are not taking that away from you. That being said, stop being such a damn jackass.

reminds me

of one of my older maps, but this is much, much better. the tileset looks almost exactly the same

Demo Data

yawn

best part was launchpad arc, then next best was the pit. Besides that, it sucked
@stalkr: Meh, I don't care much for the tileset either. Could have made things much, much more interesting.
@PALEMOON: <3, not because of this, well, at all really, but cuz you succeed in turning everything into a joke.

this is uninspired. why did you make this? not many of your maps are inspired. get inspired.

faster agd.
Demo Data

Well

I liked the little launchpad arc.

dude...

what the hell were you thinking when you made those holes in the tileset? just looks... revolting. except for the half-decent gameplay in the middle part of the map, i cannot find a single thing that i don't dislike very, very strongly (including those stupid tags).
NR (would be a 1).

its all an opinion

my opinion is different to tinkers is different to flagmyidol if we were all the same it would be a monotonous world. i dont much agree with features sometimes but what the hey, you have to mix it up a litle.

beh

I didn't like this one. Sorry.

5aved.. ;D

a bit diffictul, but funny
Demo Data

Didn't like it much

I did like the jump over the launchpads though.

3aved.

Worst feature ever?

*Agrees with Skyray.
and not just cause crescor is my friend. It's an opinion what you feature, and if it makes you happy, then MAYBE it will mke those who play it happy.
And not just because it was my feature.

Innit.

Moony is a wise old owl face.
worst is subjective

u
you are
your
you're

3/5

I gave it what i thought it was
Above average

huh

this didn't do it for me. also, "nDEAVOUR", or whatever the hell you're calling yourself now, lord_day's choice was truly interesting and different, unlike this, and the point of that map was to view xela's demo. which rocked.

so blargle.

crescor: feature this!
tinkers: OKAY!
My thoughts are that, yes, this map doesn't immediately stand out among the rest. However, right now this for me constitutes what makes a map fun.
However, it does, in my opinion, contain the very element of what makes this game fun. It isn't just average, it is your average fun map. Although the look is lame, and it isn't a new concept, the gameplay brings us back to why we played this game in the first place.
it was just okay, nothing better I rated a 4 i think but I was a noob then and rated higly for everything. this isnt the worst featured map [nmaps.net] but is still not a great choice

agd

pretty good but nothing special. 3.5
rated up for electric six :)
Demo Data

hmm,

i like the map, but disagree with the feature.

3/5

didn't see anything great about this, blocky and un-fun.

I agree with GTM

it's not very featurish

Agrees

with the Techno.
1. The look completely threw me off. Such a horrible environment to play in.
2. I thought this was probably featured for having a "WOW!" moment. Unfortunately that never came.

I am disappointed. My least favorite feature, like, ever. Sorry. :/
I think there will be a nuff to put it in the bath tub. Don't forget to wash behind the ears! There is nothing worse than unpopular ears...
