Everybody can make good maps, I think that maybe the problem is that you don't playtest your maps a lot and that's a big key to have your map rated.
I didn't like this map too much, the gausses were annoying but I'll give you a 3 for your desperation.

it's not up to your usual standards though. from your first map, i have recognized your potential. you're not horrible; you have room to improve, yes, but so do we all. 3.5/5 rounded up.

i've had my crappy maps and my pretty good maps and i never said i was a horrible map maker *cough* outloud *cough*
when i loose inspiration, i just make tilesets. i just go with the flow and make whatever seems cool at the time. thats how i made my most recent one. 5/5 if that'll make you not commit suicide.
