Following something close to the flow, I couldn't find the real thing.

I really like this tileset.
If you don't mind I might use it for later use. Just comment on one of my maps if you do or do not mind.
As for the map itself. it seems like it should be more of an action map than a race map. The gold is patterned in a strange way that doesn't really show a flowy route. But I congratulate you on the tiles. They are the best part about this map.
An enemy choice would have been nice, and placing the gold in ways that were either difficult to get or out of the way of the main path could have made this map a bit more enjoyable. Try making small clusters of gold, maybe somewhere between 3 and 8 pieces per cluster, spread them about evenly around the map and then add an enemy that you think would fit the style of the map. Here I personally would go for zap drones and/or rockets. but any enemy choice, as long as the enemies are used effectively, is good.
Hope to see more of this style of tileset from you and maybe a map or two that starts to incorporate more objects!
