Description | I implemented the Trigger Functions on the objects, so that you can play and pause individual object by touching the corresponding door trigger.
Restart NReality (a mod of N, download @ n.infunity.com) to retrieve this new update of Triggered Objects To add "Trigger" to a door switch, append ^startTriggers(separated by "."),stopTriggers(separated by ".") to the door switch object (which starts with 9^ ) To make the object triggerable, append ^^waitForTrigger,startTriggers(separated by "."),stopTriggers(separated by ".") For an example, the first line of drones can be started by the triggerID 1, and can be stopped by trigger ID 2 so their codes are !6^180,180,3,0,0,2^^,1,2! The door switch which starts it has the code of !9^228,276,0,0,27,11,1,-1,0^1! and the door switch which stops it has the code of !9^228,240,0,0,2,11,1,0,0^,2! The boo is initially stopped, and can be started with trigger ID 5, so it has a code of !6^756,276,3,0,101,2^^1,5! |

HALP!
I'm making an nreality level. I have 6 triggers and I'm trying to make an exit switch that runs away from you until until you press the trigger with I.D 6. What's wrong with my code, or do triggers just not work on chase AI?

Sorry for the double post. Almost forgot what I was doing here. I tested the floor guards and they don't seem to work with triggers. Rockets (as I already told you) stop where they are, disappear and then relaunch. Haven't tested gauss. I bet it just resets the cross hairs (I'll check though).

@mintnut: As I understand it, you're not pissing on originality (since that would be a horrible argument), but rather you're making a distinction between originality ("oh wow, nobody's thought of that before") and a pure first ("well that was obvious, but so-and-so was the first to actually put it into a map"). Yes, originality should be valued more than pure firsts, but in my experience (and surely yours, too), the first map that implements a new feature will be rated higher because of it. The map can still suck, of course, and usually the populace will catch on to that to some degree, but the map will still be rated more highly because of the new feature. You're right in that people should rate pure firsts more objectively.

I think, you should put more work
into making laser drones' lasers solid and unharmful, so that you can run/wall jump up them. Now that would be cool.

that because he gets first crack at the whip, is map isn't as good as it was? It's still the same, surely you don't get better ratings by being the first to use something? You should get them for being the best at implementing them.

Secondly, a stab at this map really - I rated your last map a 5. But thinking about it, that rating was bias. As you're in control of making whatever drones you want, you will always be the first person to come up with brilliant ideas on how to use these drones.
The drones are probably based on a way of playing a map - take your rocky ghost drones for example; I'm sure you had the idea to let yourself make a bridge before you made the drones.
Therefore I'm not going to rate this map or any of your following new NReality mod maps, as although they're good work, they're not a fair rating.
