Description | Looong DDA with at least 20 close calls, arguably 25 or even 30. I've put a lot of effort into this, so if you could just give it a quick watch and rate, i would GREATLY appreciate it. I really hope i've made progress with my DDA-making skills and it'd be great to hear what everyone has to say.
2425 frames, adding about 1000 from Survivor Man (which wasn't rated, lol) Finished map of Supersudds, and then Survivor Man PLEASE give it a chance, most of my maps never get the chance. Im kind of desperate for this one to be rated because its my best and i reeeally hope some people can help me out! rate/comment, N-joy! |

to add to what has already been said:
It seems that at times you are trying to get N far away from the rockets to get him out of all danger. Try to keep N as close to all the rockets as possible, which will not only get better close calls but also help to keep the rockets from grouping as quickly.
Also, it is best not to use any modified launch pads. With the ability to change the direction and speed of modified launchpads to exact amounts, it makes it seem to the viewer that there is no real threat and that the launchpads are a really easy way to get out of a situation.

If you use that many launchpads, you should make sure that you get a really close call on each and every one of the launchpads. Otherwise, you may as well use a different form of propulsion (which you should do anyway). Take a look at my launchpad-based DDA [nmaps.net] to see what I mean about that.
There were still a fairly good amount of close calls, though, more than I see in most DDAs.

Very Nice.
Might have cut back on launchpads (especially the edited ones), but I liked some of the close calls. 4

in my opinion, a good dda has no, or little, launchpads.
