Jack slammed the door of his useless car. Wheather he intended to or not, the force of the slam shattered his side window. It's was alright because he was never going to see it again, what use is a wrecked engine a thousand miles in the outback? Now all he can do is walk and hope to find some water. It was only a few kilometres from his broken down car when he came across the curious sign, and the ledge ahead of it. He knew he couldn't get back up so he turned to the sign, as if reading it will give him some confidence. The sign held no information the was particularly detailed or useful, just two words. "BEWARE: ANTLIONS" Jack tuned back to the pitted field of sand ahead of him. After taking the time out not to think twice, he lowered himself over the edge... "What are few bugs going to do to me?" |
