Map Data

Description -in my opinion, which you can search for by author (at May2014). I may have missed a bunch. And don't judge the 'star mappers' phrase I used :)
http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html

Currently very prolific mappers: fujita seiko, yoke300 some of the maps are wonderful
arandombattery -Some older maps good but most too packed with gold and mines etc.
blacklef
dongle
dommetysk
grzegorzpl
harv
jb257
james_s (me.......)
jp_joao
johan1996 and axmyr (altho many maps are short racing frame by frame challenges)
no_one
panstromek -improved i think
phurix
premium-hair
Spartax18 -less frustrating maps than before i think
thrasher26 -I do love the style and the powerful gameplay he can make but most maps either too basic or too hard or look like nothing special
thejumper741
u283 -Some clever maps
virgilsquill19
vrugtehagel
wathever
w95559w -Some clever maps but hard to search for them out of the many others he made

Mappers probs already well known on NUMA but a lot of maps not brought over to numa (not compatible etc) ghjijgh, oleary15, enlightened, inspired

Others that just make my list:
hazardouz, xojec, ofthebaltic, acran, thunder, hupalbunda -these I think are not super high class mappers but made some v enjoyable maps.

FYI Metanet lost the author information for old n2 maps accidentally so this list is useless now
Has it already been deleted?

AGD...

doh.. I am not a fan of "hiding" mines behind gold. :)
not a bad map gave it a 4.... seems like the only one.

demo.

I am not a fan of unreachable gold.

I forgot to say

The writing in the mines looks very cool
about this list- its so people who don't want to come over to N2 can still check out the talent and be aware. (popular maps is limited to 25pages -of mostly newish maps by the same authors)

also I guess

I prefer the way the ninja interacts with the tiles in 1.4, with corner jumps and tile squeezes. and I prefer how 1.4 drops frames when it lags instead of slowing down the clock
he made some pretty cool maps on 2.0 way back in the old days.

the reason I probably will never migrate to 2.0 for good is that numa has comments and allows for feedback and interaction. the community is the only reason I'm still around.

also, constructive criticism is so important for mappers starting out, and you kinda need comments for that.

Maybe there is a way to interact with others in 2.0, but if there is, I have not found it.

no offense man, but

I hate Nv2.0
I feel it lacks the very essence of the game.

gate where it is cause I was happy to see it work in my favour. I hope you'll try the double tap jump off the A

Thanks

Thanks for including me :)

I feel like Nv1.4 doesn't use the full potential of my maps when transferring them over from Nv2.0 and are just more enjoyable on Nv2.0..
