If you don't press 1, then you die by a thwump then get hit by a thwumps side after that.

I've seen this trick many times (used it once in a DDA, too) but not with thwumps.

if you don't need the exits on the right side of the map, then why put them there? also, I don't see any difference between pressing 1 before playing and not pressing it. hope I'm at least a bit understandable xD
