Description IRC map with life [nmaps.net] and maxson. [nmaps.net]
01. No moving enemies on the bottom half of the map ~~ Life
02. Any place where there are no tiles touching the edge of the map must have a tile within 3 squares of the edges ~~ RD
03. maps must contain at least 2 thwumps ~~ maxson
04. Gold must be placed in groups of between five and ten pieces ~~ Life
05. There must be exactly two tunnels of one tile height/width of any length ~~ RD
06. No NaN'd objects ~~ maxson
07. There should be a speedrun route and a highscore route ~~ Life
08. Gausses may have no object within 3 tiles in any direction ~~ RD
09. There must be at least 1 laser or chaingun in the map (and because of rule #1, upper half) ~~ maxson
10. Have at least two pop culture references ~~ Life
11. There must be a cliff with a few mines along/near it but it must be climbable ~~ RD
12. There must be a perpendicular section of tiles somewhere in the map (i.e. L-shape) ~~ maxson
13. Only '1' and '2' and '6' and 'E' tiles ~~ Life
14. There must be three oneways which do not face either up or down placed anywhere in the map ~~ RD
15. No bounceblocks ~~ maxson

The pop references are the atob-tree, and the race like start.
The first oneway may be found to the immediate right of the door switch.

Yes, I realize the map is sort of tricky!

This is my second attempt at mapping to these rules, the first one started out kinda bland, and became progressively more awful as I tried to improve it. I am very proud of what I was able to achieve in the tiles while following the relevant rules (02. 05. 11. 12. and 13.) I must have spent somewhere like three hours on this. The hardest part was tweaking the laser/chaingun and the thwumps so as to make them a challenge without being a pain in the

Wow

I have to agree with sayko. But with these rules in mind, I think you did a damn good job. The map looks decent and plays pretty well, though the top-left gold is perhaps too hard. And I would've closed off the smaller opening in the laser area - it has ruined many a good run of mine. Overall, good stuff. 4/5
