wow
if this is your first dda, you have good dda skills.
but try to make a dda without launchpads, bacause ddas with launchpads aren't so good. And try to keep a rocket alive (KRADDA (Keep rocket alive don't do anything))

Now...
This was VERY impressive for a first dda, all the close calls and stuff were great, you used alot of objects more than once, you had alot of good enemies and it wasnt very spammy at ALL. the only problem is it had launchpads. Now you used them well but i (along with many others) highly dislike using launchpads in a DDA. They are just boring and WAY TOO EASY lol. if you use launchpads you can get out of almost any situation pretty easily. I liked your use of trapdoor propulsion but try other methods of propulsion too... yeah i just looked back and it was all launchpad and trapdoor propulsion.
There are numerous different types including:
Open door+Gold- Here [nmaps.net] - This method uses gold to make an open door "forget" you are there, which makes it close on the ninja, propelling him away from the door.
Bounceblock+Gold- Here [nmaps.net] - This method uses gold to, again, make the bounceblock "forget" that the ninja is there. This causes the ninja to travel INTO the bounceblock and when the gold is gone, they cannot occupy the same space so the ninja is propelled away.
Thwump propulsion you used at the beginning so thats good but you can do more with it like this [nmaps.net] (Life is extremely good at DDA's check his shizz out)
Anyway this was amazing for a first. Definitely worth a 3.5rounded up. make one this good without launchpads and we're talking 4.5 easy.

Welcome to NUMA
This is a pretty solid first DDA. I'll give it a 4 because it's not too spammy, and the close calls are nice. However, it doesn't seem to fully work on my computer.
