| Description | after my return to NUMA I slowly began making more and more maps, which I felt were also progressively better and better maps in general. I am upset however because despite my mapping skills becoming more noteable, still I lack the audiance to help my maps and career as a mapper get anywhere in the community. All I really ask for is that JuST ONE of my maps recieves a public rating (I know that is a lot to ask for), but just that may give my the confidence and self-esteem boost to prevent me from retiring from NUMA once again.
So yea, this is just a call for help map, I appreciate anybody that takes the time to play and comment some of my maps, and of course, anybody that does will be awarded ETERNAL CONEN LOVE!! Thank you!! |

for one thing, in rainbows is Radioheads worst album. and also, this map wasn't ment to be an attention whoring map, it's just a simple call for help, plenty of people make these kinds of maps and I have no regrets.
also, im going to flip a shit if one more person tells me to use the map commenting thread because it DOESNT ****ING WORK (I don't know who I can trust these days, especially on the internet (Not meant to offend anybody)).

you say your getting better at mapping, but this map really sucks. This is the epitome of a noobish map. Try making good maps. Then they will get comments.

a map rating thing on the forums. You can also try commenting on a bunch of maps when you submit one. People usually check out your map then. You can also put "RCE and I'll RTF" in your description or offer a ded.

there is a lot of maps out there. its hard to rate n comment on each one we come across. ill admit theres several maps i have that didnt get as much attention as id think. but same with jasdanu tho, i dont comment/rate sometimes, but still take note of the author :p

don't beg for ratings, there aren't many people on NUMA when you suubmit a map, maybe a couple hundred people. Less than 10% will look at it or play it because they are doing something else and don't see your map, or don't like your map's thumbnail. How I think of it, is that everyone is attracted to the pro player's maps. Even though they are highscoring geeks, that doesn't mean they are good at mapping. I have to agree with you as well, it is quite unfair to others...one of the reasons i might be leaving soon.

Conen, I was going to feature one of your maps next week.
Maps are not about ratings and comments. For me, they let me get creative with different mechanics and arrangements, and I like to post the results to NUMA to archive them and for people to see if they want to. Hence, the upcoming Arborist's Epilogue is there solely to make it easier for people to play my works, not to try and garner attention for more maps. Double-hence, I'm quitting the map-pack after the Epilogue.
I actually liked a lot of your recent stuff. The regular tiles were cool and the object placement was neat. Some of your PALEMOON-esque stuff was cool too. But I don't feel like bringing attention to a mapper with that view on mapping, for nows, anyways.
Calm down and keep going, I'll love you for it.
