ok :P

hahaha

In the decription:

"Player with Highest score Gets a Ded, the next Mario-style map I make!"
When i make the map, i will ded to the high scorer at that time. So if someone beats you before then, it will go to them.

so..

er..
did i win the ded mate?

I did search

Mario and nothing of this quality, or accurate pixelation came up.
Yoshi has to many pixels to do in this manner.

search mario

or something along those lines.

you'll see.

i agree with almost everyone.

esay,

these people are rating from their opinion. If you don't like that, well tough, because it's them that's rating. As for the map it is pretty unoriginal like they said, but alright. 3/5.

Don't go bashing other people just because they rate low. Sure, it did take some work, but you just have to put the originality for the n-art to be succesful. Why not do a Yoshi sprite from Yoshi's island instead? Don't think anyone's done that.
All you have to do is wall jump off of Mario's (left?) foot.

@Riobe

I'm meaning by making this an NReailty Highscore map that it is well suited to the Highscore environment, unusual for n-arts.
I think there is quite a challenge, getting back up to the exit. Took a while for me to see if it was possible, at least.
Lag, no problem for me. As I said, takes less than 3 seconds to load, and it's quite fun to watch anyway.
I do feel that it does have a challenge, but some parts are just too annoying. :/
"@UZ go take out your personal matters personally, don't be such a coward." was totally uncalled for, really (All he was doing was saying what he thought about the map dude).

Secondly, I agree with ]{NO3. The basic mario picture has been done so many times, and many different variations. So, in this case, the basic idea of a mario N-Art has been overused, and therefore, is not original. Playable N-Art isn't really original either, because I've seen playable N-Art as well as made some. Also, adding on a NReality Highscore dedication really isn't going to change it's originality. It's like copying someone else's playable map, and then adding on a NReality Highscore dedication to make it original, which doesn't make any sense in the first place.

The mario N-Art in the end is just really generic looking. It has no real innovation, and the playable part of it is just bleh. I think that you honestly would have done much better if you hadn't made it playable, because the gameplay is really bland, and has almost no challenge in the end. For lagg related issues, a non-playable N-Art would have been better for this, because you'd be able to fill in all of that white space next to the tiles, and make the color of Mario's skin a better color too.

Had the playable aspect of it been taken away, and the colors been better, I would have given this at least a 3 no doubt. But otherwise, this N-Art only warrants a 2 from me.

(I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, I'm just trying to state my opinion on the map)

...

I played it...
it's still my opinion

Comment Effed up.
Response to a, b and c respectively.

Mhh

Not when you have to stick to pixels. And not have any extra objects.

Have you even played it? Everyone else seems to think so...

Not compared to most of your maps. It takes >3 seconds for me.

yep

well:
a - implementing a challenge is easy with n-art... if the art is crap... so... yeah
b - that is definitely not a good ratio of gold...
c - it DOES take too long to load
so I disagreed with all the "below points"
that's my opinion

$2?

Bellow points?
That's your opinion.

$2

... I don't agree with some of the bellow points

@ska

Thank you :D
You're in the lead, good job!

AGREED WITH

UZ and apse... unoriginal... playable n-arts are annoying and rather silly and it doesn't look that great
I have some points you may want to consider, before going ahead and rating.

1. There is a small challenge; quite hard to implement in n-art.
2. There is a good ratio of gold:time taken to get the gold, sometimes taking longer if you attempt to get it, and sometimes (if you are good enough) beneficial.
3. There are not /too/ many objects, so it doesn't take too long to load
and 4. Looks exactly like the 1st Mario Game! (Pixel-Wise)

IMO

this hasn't been done nearly enough, I think an 8 bit mario should be submitted at least twice every day.

Best highscore on NReality.

Well

I haven't seen any other mario maps.
Especially used in this manner (Playable n-art with nreality highscore ded).
Probably a first, actually.
@UZ go take out your personal matters personally, don't be such a coward.

Agreed.

2/5; not original.

meh

done waaay too many times.

ill give it a five

it would have been a three because everyone does mario, but A. this looks really good and B, its playable. :p

good job!

i give a five cause it looks exactly like matio once again great job!5/5
