My 150th! To celebrate 150 maps, i'm going to do a mappack! The theme of this mappack is, well, random Dutch places noones ever heard of. Maybe you know Amsterdam or even The Hague, but have you heard of Gilze or Roermond? I'll make maps inspired by these cities and upload them, obviously starting with the first 3, Lelystad, Eindhoven and Tilburg. The other for now delisted maps (i will relist them when there's space on the maps page) can already be found in the pack of this episode, which you can find here [packs.droni.es]. How it's called a city is a mystery. It's more like a bunch of bunker housings and factory blocks slapped on a grassfield. Everything contrasts itself here. Grass instantly fades into road. Factories and flats instantly fade into half-breathing shopping centers. There's no footpaths - only bike bridges that lead to nowhere. You will need a car to survive. Built as an idealistic city after the war, but it's a horrible place. I visualised the contrast all these buildings and farmland has in this map. |
